Designed as a carry bag for the little Featherweight machines, this one can serve many purposes. Formed on a frame with zipper closure and pockets to spare--it will hold a lot. Class with Beverly always teaches so much and she is great at being a "Bag Lady"!! Three time class

This is a brand new technique/pattern by FiberArts and it is fascinating. You will sew fabrics together, trim with a special ruler, and then "twist" the parts into a finished project. Two time class with Beverly

This gathering is for anyone who loves to be around sewing, quilting, embroidery, machines, notions and "sew" much more. We gather the first Saturday of each month and the Friday before the first Saturday. Jeannie and Jane share new patterns and notions, fabrics and great new ideas and techniques. Sometimes there is a special challenge to participate in, and there are lots of door prizes! We do "show and tell" so that members can share their projects--it is wonderful and fun. Our main service project is to bring pillowcases for Cook's Children's Hospital, but we also donate to the Linus Project. We hope you will join us--everyone is welcome. We take a $5 per session donation to help with the handouts and door prizes--and everyone gets a fat quarter on their birthday month!

Choose your day for a five hour program called ?Camouflage with Lace?, presented by Designs in Machine Embroidery, and our special educator will be Aine--who works with us!! It will be an educational trunk show including special designs by Kimberbell and Angela Wolfe, plus more embroidery techniques and products. This new design by Stitch Delite is just stunning--and Mary M will guide you through the hooping and fabric steps to create a unique baby gift on your embroidery machine.

A must for new embroidery machine owners, or those wanting to renew or perfect their skills. This is a workshop class to teach the basics of threads, stabilizers, needles, hooping, placement and stitching on a variety of fabrics. This is a fun but "workhorse" class. Machine owners that purchased here pay $25, others are $50.

Do you have a Singer Featherweight 221? Would you like to learn more about this perfect portable machine and how to keep it in good working condition? If the answer is yes, then you?ll want to attend our Featherweight Club gatherings--scheduled the fourth Friday of July and August at 1:30 and 6:00. Bring your little gems and work with others who love them as you do some special stitching.

Cute little embroideries that fit into little hoops (or onto your projects) that are perfect for decorating. There will be two design packages to choose from--one is nativity designed!

A simple jacket made in soft fabrics, longer or shorter length with few seams and little ?fitting?. Deborah will teach this in two sessions

A workshop style class with Beverly. These pattern books feature so many different blocks, and you can use and combine them in so many ways--it's up to you! The fabric choices are listed as "vintage style" but you can make it any colorway that you choose! Workshop classes continue July 20 @ 9:30 and August 17 @ 9:30

Using quilt sandwiches (fabric squares with batting) you will stitch several techniques on your sewing machine, to help you prepare for your own projects that need quilted. We share ideas for patterns, styles, accessories, tools and more, and also do basic quilt stitching and a little free-motion work.

We know that there are SO many techniques, tips and tricks to machine embroidery, and we just can?t teach everything all at once, so this is a chance to pick your technique style and concentrate on that technique in a whole class. You will receive the design and some supplies with the class, have the opportunity to see other designs of that similar style, and stitch out the project each class--all the way!! The first session is on ?In the Hoop? embroidery on July 23rd at 1:30 or 6:00. Following sessions in August and September will include Machine Embroidered Applique and Tee Shirt Embroidery! Jeannie will lead these and is SEW excited!! ($25 per session)

Do your points all match??? Especially for those who need help with cutting, stitching and pressing for basic quilt block construction, in class you will work with rulers, cutters and your machine as you work through lots of basic skills. Workshop class with Jeannie and Jane

Stashbuster!! Pillowcases make great gifts--and a great project for leftover fabric. You will learn two ways to construct a pillowcase and learn to sew French seams. You are invited to make one pillowcase for donation to Cooks Children's Hospital. Aine will demonstrate various embellishments and creative ideas for unique pillowcases.

Premier Embroidery Club meets once a month to enhance your use of software with so many capabilities. The new Viking Premier Plus 2 Software will be used in this class, with limited support of Premier Plus continuing. If you have Embroidery or Embroidery Extra the teacher will need to know well before the class to ensure the lesson can be done on your level.

We are going strong after our January start--but you can join us at any time! We do a monthly "Friendship Quilt" block (with some tutorials), plus exchange and mystery programs, and small challenges some months. Our plans will include many opportunities to learn and share as we go along. The "Show and Tell" projects are just wonderful--we have such talented folks--or you are welcome to just come and enjoy the fellowship. We support Safe Haven with monthly donations and also encourage Linus and Cook's fabric donations. We meet on a Thursday evening at 6:30 and Friday at 1:00--usually the third week of the month, but check the calendar for dates!! Everyone welcome!!

Using some basic block embroidery in several shapes we will work with ?cheater? fabrics to fit the stitching to your blocks so that you can go home and get busy! This is fun, plus hooping and placement aids will be shown.

Using a special, marked interfacing, press cut pieces to the panels, stitch a folded seam and create a unique bag. Match it to your color style or use up some stash! Class with Mary M

It?s so soft and fluffy you will be tempted to throw it on your favorite chair--created with strips and a new pattern technique, we are offering discounted strip sets the Jane will cut that make this project so colorful, or use your own strips. Easy stitching, piecing and then some clipping create the ?fluff?. Class with Beverly

We go over all of the settings, adjustments and parts, and then cut several different media, and learn to scan for cutting. NOTE!! This class is a prerequisite for other Scan 'N Cut Classes!

Jeannie loves cutting for appliqu? and this new pattern of the United States is really pretty. Great practice with your machines.

Libby creates something special for this class each quarter--using some of the unique accessories or techniques with the cutter.

It seems like a long way off--but our annual Schoolhouse Event is on the schedule for Sept 15th. This is a Sunday afternoon ?round robin? type session that is lots of fun, full of different projects and techniques presented by our teachers. All machines and materials are provided and you just get to go home with great goodies. This fills up fast so register soon! Size is limited--$50 for the day

Start with a fabric panel (and we have lots) or a beautiful cut of yardage, then cut it in a special way to add sashing and border strips that create a very unique, pretty look. Class with Suzie

Continue with the basics as you learn the rolled hem, flatlock and using decorative threads with special applications. Class prices as above on Sept 10 @ 6:00

Cut up those special shirts and stitch them into a personal quilt project. Suzie will share many ideas for joining the cuts to make a unique project--these make great "special time" gifts, such as graduation.

This pattern can be challenging without the Tucker Ruler that is used in this class with Jane--great instructions are included as you make up the basic blocks for this pattern

The Westalee program has been great for many folks, and we have even more to offer now using the quilting rulers with the special ruler foot on your flatbed sewing machines, with free-motion stitching. The Westalee Basics class gets you started with the rulers as you learn to maneuver and manipulate your designs.

We will fill you in on this session as time is closer--as Kimberbell is bringing out a new program later this summer--keep posted! Class will gather Sept 13 @ 6:00--price to be determined
