Sewing Machine Sales and Service for over 40 years
If you have this, you will learn a lot as we continue exploring this software

If you are ready for more on the Canvas program for the Scan 'N Cut, or just to get started, come to this class

From Floriani--This is a new program designed for use with digital cutters and is stand-alone--but will interface with Floriani-- class meets with Libby

This gathering is for anyone who loves to be around sewing, quilting, embroidery, machines, notions and "sew" much more. We gather the first Saturday of each month and the Friday before the first Saturday. Jeannie and Jane share new patterns and notions, fabrics and great new ideas and techniques. Sometimes there is a special challenge to participate in, and there are lots of door prizes! We do "show and tell" so that members can share their projects--it is wonderful and fun. Our main service project is to bring pillowcases for Cook's Children's Hospital, but we also donate to the Linus Project. We hope you will join us--everyone is welcome. We take a $5 per session donation to help with the handouts and door prizes--and everyone gets a fat quarter on their birthday month!

Review of the basics of this economical software with an emphasis on the additions that you can make. If you are "thinking" about adding a software program to your embroidery but don't want a larger investment--take a look at this one. Note--we are considering offering classes on some of the add-ons to Embrilliance if there is interest--(such as Enthusiast and Alpha Tricks)--let us know!

Continue the adventure of machine embroidery with more techniques--this workshop class will stitch up lace, applique, more lettering programming plus work with more placement skills for any machine.

Brand New Here--Do you have a Singer Featherweight 221? Would you like to learn more about this perfect portable machine and how to keep it in good working condition? If the answer is yes, then you?ll want to attend our Featherweight Club gatherings--scheduled the fourth Friday of most months at 1:30 and 6:00. Bring your little gems and work with others who love them as you do some special stitching.

If you own this software you should be coming to these classes each month for great tips and techniques. Libby leads these classes, one in the evening and one during the day. Check the calendar for dates and times, please let us know and you will be on the email list.

We know that there are SO many techniques, tips and tricks to machine embroidery, and we just can't teach everything all at once, so this is a chance to pick your technique style and concentrate on that technique in a whole class. You will receive the design and some supplies with the class, have the opportunity to see other designs of that similar style, and stitch out the project each class--all the way. We had three sessions of this last quarter and they learned a lot--this quarter begins with border stitching on Oct 22 @1:30 or 6:00--followed by a lace session in November but then a break until January to finish the series.

More garment and basic sewing classes will be on the schedule next quarter--as this is such a busy time of the year--but we do want to offer the Flannel (or cotton) Pajama Pant project as a beginner or intermediate sewing class. We will work with a simple pattern with elastic waist and pockets, do a tiny bit of fitting and have a great seasonal garment or gift! Two time class begins Nov 25@ 1:30 or 6:00 ($30)

We are going strong after our January start--but you can join us at any time! We do a monthly "Friendship Quilt" block (with some tutorials), plus exchange and mystery programs, and small challenges some months. Our plans will include many opportunities to learn and share as we go along. The "Show and Tell" projects are just wonderful--we have such talented folks--or you are welcome to just come and enjoy the fellowship. We support Safe Haven with monthly donations and also encourage Linus and Cook's fabric donations. We meet on a Thursday evening at 6:30 and Friday at 1:00--usually the third week of the month, but check the calendar for dates!! Everyone welcome!!

New pattern from Pink Sand Beach features accent strips, full lining and pockets. The fabric shown is available here but any would work. Class with Maria starts Nov 21 @ 9:30 or Dec 12 @ 6:00 ($30)

Teresa creates some very unique projects for these classes, and you get to try some of the other "crafty toys" in her sessions. -Join her on Oct 12 or 18th for a Candle Card special project--followed in November with a gift box and tag to make a compete gift set--Nov 15th or 23rd ($20)

Libby creates something special for this class each quarter--using some of the unique accessories or techniques with the cutter.

Create something special and useful using your serger. We will stitch a "Christmas Tree" napkin, a ruffle finish for a towel and a wine/gift bag almost totally on your serger. Techniques include rolled hem, plus three and four thread serging. Class Dec 5 @ 6:00 or Dec 9 @ 1:30

We have a "Sew-In" scheduled to help you with those unfinished --just sign up and bring a snack!

Make a wall hanging or table runner with an adorable snowman and snowflake accents. Large pieces make this easy and fast. Pattern is from a small booklet with lots of other great patterns. Two time class with Beverly starts Nov 13 @ 9:30 or Dec 2 @ 6:00 ($30)

Class will use all of the rulers in the sampler set as you learn and practice Clamshells, spiral and rotating designs, arcs and more. You will also learn how helpful the crosshair square rulers are for your projects.
