We look forward every month to seeing you at our Decorative Machine Club--with smiles and sharing. The "show and tell" is just amazing and folks get so inspired by the talents of others. We encourage pillow case and fabric donations for Cooks Children's Hospital and the Linus project. Each session has something new to show, techniques to learn, and sometimes a challenge for the attendees-- plus door prizes! Come join us the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 and the Friday before at 1:30

Create a unique Easter Basket "in the hoop"--you will quilt and stitch squares and then join for a wonderful usable decoration! Sweet Pea design is used in class with Mary M starting Feb 15 @ 9:30 ($30)

This is a workshop class to teach the basics of threads, stabilizers, needles, hooping, placement and stitching on a variety of fabrics. This is a fun but "workhorse" class. If the answer is yes, then you'll want to attend our Featherweight Club gatherings--scheduled the fourth Friday of most months at 1:30 and 6:00. Bring your little gems and work with others who love them as you do some special stitching.

We will be a "Certified Shop" after February, and will hold special event classes that are available only to trained shops--so we will tell you all about it and give you some "sneak peeks" on March 7 @ 1:00

Learn the basics of sewing--for garments or quilting--this will help you understand your machine and it's accessories. You will practice seaming and sew much more, along with basic care and adjustments. Free if purchased here --others pay $50 **This class is not for machines listed in the machine specific classes!. From basic straight line quilting, to echo, outline, free motion (stippling), stencils and more--you will stitch samples of a variety of quilting styles and go home with knowledge to get started on your projects! Class Jan 30 @ 10 or 6:00 ($20)

This program is new and we want to promote its versatility and fun. Aine, who is a DIME educator, will lead this beginner class on Feb 4 @ 2 or 6:00 ($20)

We know that there are SO many techniques, tips and tricks to machine embroidery, and we just can't teach everything all at once, so this is a chance to pick your technique style and concentrate on that technique in a whole class. You will receive the design and some supplies with the class, have the opportunity to see other designs of that similar style, and stitch out the project each class--all the way. We had three sessions of this last quarter and they learned a lot--this quarter begins with embroidered quilting on Feb 13 @ 2:00 & 6:00 --followed by a cutwork session in March ($25)

Premier Embroidery Club meets Meets every two months to enhance your use of software with so many capabilities. This quarter meets Feb 12 @ 6:00. If you have Embroidery or Embroidery Extra the teacher will need to know well before the class to ensure the lesson can be done on your level.

It's the start of a new year with our wonderful Quilt Club!! Come join us!!! Whether you are learning or a confident quilter--this group has something to offer. The members share their projects, ideas and questions, and there is a lot of laughter. We have a new "club quilt" planned that members will receive free patterns for each month. We will have a "mystery" coming soon! There is always a first look at new fabrics and patterns for members, special sales and some sort of demo about notions and techniques. Members also support Safe Haven with donations each month. Yearly membership is $35. Come join us for a visit and be part of this great group, which meets most months on the third Thursday evening or Friday afternoon--check the calendar!

Some of you have made the Bionic Gear bag, and this is a new version and sew useful and will hold an amazing amount of "stuff"--sewing or other. Maria has made a bunch and will teach this two time class beginning March 11 @ 6:00 or March 18 @ 10 ($30)

Using the unique "quilt as you go" technique create a runner or quilt with Mary B with a new look. Two time classes begin Jan 9 @ 10:00 or Feb 14 @6:00 ($30)

We will gather here on Sunday, Feb 2 at 12:00 and sew until 5--on a special project that stitches up quickly. We are not sure of the project yet--but it?s always a fun day of sewing, laughing and eating! $25

Always a winner with three fabric choices--and no binding! Mary B will lead this class on Jan 15 @ 10 or Jan 18 @ 1:30 ($20)

This can be for Christmas or any occasion--it's fun to choose your fabrics and put squares together into a unique design using a special ruler. Two time class with Susie starts March 2 @ 6:00 or March 12 @ 10 ($30)

Learn about the feet that came with your machine and some of the many others available--free use of feet in class!

The "Westalee" program has been great for many folks, and we have even more to offer now using the quilting rulers with the special ruler foot on your home sewing machines, with free-motion stitching. This class will work on a "Ruler Roll" project done with Sampler Set 1 and the Starter Set. If you have not done any of the classes you can still give this a try--it's fun! Maria is having too much fun with these--starting with a fat mug, you will create an "apron" for it with clear vinyl pockets all around and a dangling pincushion! Great for the sewing room!! Class March 19 @ 10 or 6:00 ($20)
