Come join us for the first look at new notions, patterns, fabrics and more, plus see an amazing "show and tell" display of all sorts of great stitching-garments, serging, applique, quilting and ,more. Each month offers suggestions for creativity-sometimes a demonstration on a machine or using an accessory or technique-and wonderful sharing ideas.

Deborah has made lots of these and everyone wants one--they are “in the hoop” and so pretty or cute. Take this class and get started on your gift decorating! Class June 10 @ 1:30 ($20)

It’s a vintage look on kitchen towels with a holiday flair--these are fast and fun and you will learn to edge the towel hems. Anita’s Express designs include printed tutorial and multi designs. Class with Pat

Special “Anna’s Awesome Applique” classes--if you saw the trunk show at Dec Club presented by Anna you will recognize these--and if you didn’t please come take a look. They feature “in the hoop” appliqué and quilting, special joining techniques and multi hoop placement techniques. Create a bag front and back in positive/negative colors (or make them match) and add a special embroidered handle and lining--and you have a beautiful carryall. Susan will lead this two time class beginning June 8 @ 6:00 or June 17 @ 9:30 ($30)

Special “Anna’s Awesome Applique” classes--if you saw the trunk show at Dec Club presented by Anna you will recognize these--and if you didn’t please come take a look. They feature “in the hoop” appliqué and quilting, special joining techniques and multi hoop placement techniques. Stitch appliqué designs and quilting designs to create a mat, and use a special “joining” technique to put it together. Two time classes begin April 18 @ 9:30 or April 25 @ 6:00 ($30)

That's "Best Friend Forever" as you learn the basics of machine parts and techniques such as hemming, stitching straight and more. Once you understand some of those basic skills you will enjoy your machine so much more ($20)

Jane and Jeannie love to bind--and they will share several techniques for finishing off those quilt edges or other project finishes in this workshop class. You will learn to cut and join strips, apply front and back as you stitch on sample squares, including “back to front” techniques and curves.

Get finished before Easter--this cute project taught by Jane will have a “kit” ready for you to assemble a log cabin block and pieced bunny with appliqué ears--it is so cute and fun to make. Class April 1 @ 1:00 ($20)

A new pattern by Lazy Girl--use a special project and stitches to create a unique bowl to stash full of candy, sewing accessories or any goody--then release the button to store it flat!

Learn the basics plus a little extra in this software class--you can do so much more once you understand it. Class April 26 @ 6:00

Another magical technique--create a bag front with thread only--so fun! Then stitch up a zip bag and pincushion “in the hoop”. Pat will lead this class on June 8 @ 9:30 or June 12 @ 6:00

From Floriani--This is a new program designed for use with digital cutters and is stand-alone--but will interface with Floriani-- class meets with Libby

It’s a “ME” design by Kimberbell and brand new--cutwork is fun and the result is so pretty and unique. Learn on a napkin with Deborah on June 24 @ 1:30 ($20)

Simply cute and clever--create these colorful Easter Eggs-which can be used as a “pocket”--by Anita Goodesign--Pat will lead this class on April 8 @ 9:30 (if you have All-Access by Anita Goodesign you have this design pack)

Using an easy pattern, learn pattern skills with basic sewing skills as you fit and construct a basic skirt (with pockets and elastic) or Capri or long pants, also with pockets, decorative accents and elastic. Aine will teach this two time class (great for beginners) starting June 19 @ 6:00 ($30)

Back by popular demand as so many are excited about this!! Use your embroidery machine to do the quilting! Simple meandering designs are placed so that the line of stitching looks continuous--the technique is fun and easy. Special hooping will be shown, and the magnetic hoops are a real plus. Design area must meet the design size shown on the supply list --all are rectangles. Class to learn the technique ($20)

A must for new embroidery machine owners, or those wanting to renew or perfect their skills. This is a workshop class to teach the basics of threads, stabilizers, needles, hooping, placement and stitching on a variety of fabrics. This is a fun but "workhorse" class. Machine owners that purchased here pay $25, others are $45.

This basics class follows our May Floriani event, and is a good way for new owners to get started, or as a review for those who need it. Class meets May 15 @ 6:00

We have a wonderful Floriani Event in May that will fill you with helpful information and let you experience so many facets of machine embroidery--plus a goodie box!

This creation by Maria just blew us away--and we all want to make lots of them. Create a firm box--fabric covered--that folds flat for storage--it is so neat. Class with Maria on April 8 @ 1:30 or April 12 @ 9:30 ($20)

In keeping with the summer program “Row by Row”--we are offering Hoopsisters new Row Quilt--Embroidered and quilted “in the hoop” to create four seasonal scenes. This is the beginning on June 7 @ 9:30 and June 9 @ 6:00.

If you are ready to learn or renew skills—join this three time class which begins with fabric selection and cutting, and leads you through piecing, pressing, sashing, borders, quilting and binding as you create a three-block table runner in your color choices. Come join in on this very popular stitching activity—and become a "quilter". Three time classes begin April 24th @ 6:00 p.m. ($45)

Jeannie loves to appliqué, and she will share techniques for machine appliqué using a variety of feet, stitches, fusing and more, and work you through curves, corners and more. Workshop class ($20)

This is such a fun and creative technique, and in class you will stitch two styles—one a pretty Sunbonnet design on a napkin or towel. With the cutter machine popularity (like the Brother Scan 'N Cut) we have added lots of possibilities with this type of embroidery.

If you are putting together a large embroidery design that requires several hoopings, this class uses Anna’s Sunflower project to teach you how. You will stitch a “practice” with outlines and then begin the big flower--it’s beautiful! Two time classes begin April 4 @ 9:30 or 6:00 ($30)

Create a decorative accent or a special card in this class with Jane--it’s a new Kimberbell project and so pretty. Mylar makes it sparkle as you layer embroidery! Class on May 6 @ 1:00 ($20)

Another great project from Maria--this wallet has zipper and pockets with a great stitched frame on the front--very usable and pretty! Two time classes begin April 18 @ 6:00 or May 2 @ 9:30 ($30)

OESD “Bloom” BOM Class will continue the end of April and May. These blocks are so beautiful and we may repeat this in the fall.

Jane has made several projects using these techniques--and for class will suggest the letter square (includes script letter) and a great ironing pad for use at your machine. Class April 17 @ 6:00 or May 24 @ 9:30 ($20)

Aine will guide you (from kits) through a couple of pillowcase construction styles, plus add great embellishment ideas such as ruffles, accent bands and more. You will learn a lot! Class May 20 @ 1:00 ($20)

Named because you “can’t make just one…” Mary has made this and it is so cute and easy to make. Zipper, pockets and a great adjustable handle from any fabric make it unique. Class June 3 @ 1:00 or June 20 @ 6:00 ($20)

Premier Embroidery Club meets once a month to enhance your use of software with so many capabilities. The new Viking Premier Software will be used in this class, with limited support of 6D continuing.

Once a month this group gathers here for fellowship, education, sharing and more. The "show and tell" time is always inspiring, and the variety of skill and creativity wonderful to see.

“Row By Row --On the Go”--This year’s Row by Row program runs June 21, 2017 through Sept 5th and we are excited. Our license plates are great and will be available for purchase as soon as they arrive--and they are blue! Our free pattern and/or kits will be available June 21st--rules will not permit those to be handed out before that date. This program is active all across the country and if you have questions just check the “Row” website or Facebook page or ask any of us. Please join us and have fun with this year’s program!!

We go over all of the settings, adjustments and parts, and then cut several different media, and learn to scan for cutting. NOTE!! This class is a prerequisite for other Scan 'N Cut Classes!

Bring you Scan ‘N Cut Day 1 for cutting and planning, and stitch up your project on your embroidery machine. You will practice scanning and editing on the Scan ‘N Cut to improve your skills--fun projects! Classes begin April 6 @ 1:30 or 6:00 ($30)

The second project is a Holiday Decoration from paper--so patriotic and fun--and class is on June 16 @ 9:30 or June 17 @ 1:30. Both classes are $20 each plus a paper kit for your projects. These will be fun!

Teresa has planned two paper craft classes using the Scan ‘n Cut-she has been “wowing” us with her samples at show and tell times. -The first is for paper cards that could be for Father’s Day or just generic--that one is on May 20 @ 9:30 or May 23 @ 6:00

Libby always comes up with the latest techniques for this machine as she leads you through a project--not determined yet as we have new updates expected! Class on May 16 at 1:30 and 6:00 ($20)

"What is this funny-looking thing?"—A basic introduction to serger application, threading, curves, corners, balanced overlocking and gathering. If you have not taken this class,or if you need a refresher, come join us.

Get those sergers out of the closet—or the box—and learn to use them!! Sergers purchased here pay $20, others are $35 per class. This class continues from Serger 1 with using the rolled hem setting, flatlock and decorative threads. These are the "fun" stitches (must have taken Serger I for this class)

This one is all over the internet in many colors and is so pretty--just a few fabrics and strip piecing make up a mystical shape that is really easy--Two time class begins June 21 @ 6:00 ($30)

The numbers matter for this project if you choose to do a full quilt--16 fat quarters make 16 squares that measure 16 inches each! Mary B will lead this two part class and it is SEW pretty--but you could learn the technique and make a smaller project if you want. Class begins April 17 @ 1:30 or June 16 @ 6:00 ($30)

Back by popular demand--Dixie will lead you in this class to create (and walk out wearing) a great simple jacket from two tee-shirts. Use your sewing machine or serger--and she will show you some creative accents for your special garment! Class April 22 @ 1:30 ($20)

New tee shirt design from DIME--create a unique placket design, or sleeve/hemline embroidery on a simple tee. If you took the first class--this is a new design and very pretty and fun! Class April 26 @ 9:30 or May 24 @ 6:00 ($20)

Make a zip bag and eyeglass/rotary case using Texture Magic or Heat and Shrink--this is fun and magical. All “in the hoop” with Sharon on April 22 @ 9:30 or June 14 @ 9:30 ($20)

This carry-all satchel is just stunning--featuring lots of pockets and sections with zippers, plastic sleeves, built in ironing pad and more--making it great for a class carrier. -some sewing experience will help you. -Sharon will lead this three-time class beginning June 5 @ 1:30 or 6:00. ($45 )

We are getting a head start on next Christmas in this class with Mary to create a “skinny stacked fabric tree” that hangs flat and can be made from a Jelly Roll or your selection of fabrics. Great gift or decoration for that narrow wall. Two time class begins May 18 @ 6:00 ($30)

Great pattern by P3--Mary has “customized” this carrier for you to fit your size accessories for class--including a small mat, rotary cutter, marker and more, with a Velcro flat which adjusts to fit. Great gift or just for you--Class June 2 @ 6:00 ($20)

If you attended the Westalee Seminar in November--or want to learn more about using the special foot and rulers while free-motion quilting, come to this class with Jeannie to practice and get the basics under control. You will bring your machine and extend table to class with your “tools” and work through several exercises. Class March 31 @ 6:00 ($20)

Many of you purchased “Sampler Set 1” at the workshops, and we will begin to practice these fun shapes in this class. It is helpful if you have taken the “basics” class using the rulers and ruler foot. Class April 28 or 29th at 9:30 ($20)
